The core crawler is open source on github.com/spider-rs. We build in public and ship to the same repos our users depend on.
Async first
No mandatory meetings. Work asynchronously through PRs, issues, and threads. Block off the hours that work for you.
Hard problems
Bypass Cloudflare at scale, run vision models on spot GPUs, and squeeze more throughput out of every node. The problems are technical and the scope is wide.

EngineeringYou'd own core pieces of the crawling infrastructure: async networking, distributed task scheduling, and the data pipelines behind production crawl workloads.
- Design and implement low-latency, concurrent systems in Rust
- Optimize crawler performance across distributed architecture
- Build reliable APIs and internal services
- Contribute to our open-source Rust libraries
AI/ML Engineer
EngineeringYou'd work on the models that turn raw HTML into structured data: vision models for screenshot extraction, LLMs for content understanding, and the GPU inference stack that runs them.
- Develop and deploy vision and language models for web extraction
- Optimize model inference for cost and latency on GPU infrastructure
- Build evaluation pipelines and improve extraction accuracy
- Research and integrate new model architectures

BusinessYou'd define how Spider reaches developers and enterprises. From positioning and pricing to partnerships and pipeline, you'd own the full go-to-market motion.
